About Osama A. Hashmi
Osama is a consultant based out of Islamabad, Pakistan, working in the areas of Product Design and Operations Planning. He helps ensure that product designs serve to create economic value for consumers. He has had the priviledge of working with all types of firms, from startups through enterprises in the international semiconductor market.
Osama’s story is almost common now — after a number of odd years in the USA, he decided to move to where the growth was. His belief in the future of his country, however, is not as common.

How does the broadband service enviornment looks in Pakistan including both wireline and wireless? Having spend few years in US (specially last 8 plus years in broadband services area) I believe there is a great growth opportunties in Pakistan specfically within Telecom sector. Based on your experience/knowlege what is your opnion about broadband sector in Pakistan specifically with OSS/BSS area?
